| | Ahhh... mua IS back... in KL, well not exactly, more precisely it should be Selangor, but heck almost everyone refers to both KL and Selangor as KL! Somehow this year's CNY wasn't as "happening" as it used to be as compared to the past few years. *sigh* When I was young, I had a marvellous time playing firecrackers with my cousins and brother, running around like some crazy maniac children. Now, no firecrackers allowed anymore as they're practically banned by the government but somehow, we have come to accept that not all Malaysians abide by the rules nor do they follow the book. The other day I came across an article from The Star where China's government has just lifted their ban on firecrackers this year and instantly enough there are cases reported of injured citizens due to the firecrackers. *sigh* My conclusion is, human NEVER learn! Period.
Came back today, my bf and I headed to the cinema after a few hours' rest to catch the British movie, "Keeping Mum", starring Rowan Atkinson. I'm not gonna do a review on this one as I think it was worth every pound & penny watching it. Though since I'm in the Malaysian land, the currency should very well be ringgit. It was a good light-hearted and humourous comedy, at times either the jokes were rather dry perhaps, or the cinema just wasn't full enough, or the other patrons are plainly NOT the humourous type or maybe it was just me and my bf who were practically weird, because there were parts we thought funny and we chuckled, heck it felt as though we were the only two weirdos chuckling or giggling. Still, I will conclude that it is indeed a good show, Atkinson's character suited him and no, this time he didn't look like the famous role / character he's been playing all his life in Mr. Bean. |
