| | We could see the decorations being put up everywhere, from residential homes, to the hypermarkets / dept stores to the streets. The lanterns are usually the favourite with the "dong dong chiang" music everywhere! Went to Tesco the other day and there were like only abt 4 - 5 trolleys left and the rest were basically grabbed by the crazy shoppers, and there were basically traffic congestion in every single aisle in Tesco. *sheeesh* My bf and I decided to take the hand carry basket instead of jamming along with the other shoppers where there were basically not an extra inch to move around. We picked up our stuffs and off we went, and came to another type of congestion, which is to queue up for payment. Although all cashing counters were basically open, it just looked as though it wasn't sufficient or speedy enough to cater for all the shoppers not to mention all shoppers seem to have grabbed every single thing they see on the shelf!!! It somehow spelled "Hey, guess what, the goods were FREE OF CHARGE, just grab, no payment needed!" Yea, I think Tesco made hell loads of money out of the festive seasons that's for sure! Mannnn...
Anyway, I cant wait to go home myself... Have to wake up early just to go home to avoid the rush and jam considering I'll be one of the people making the last minute journey! Heck, it's the job, now in the working world, it's no longer like how it used to be when I was a student, always the first to get home! |
